Pretoria band The Action Thrillers took top honours in the monthly semi finals of the RBF Challenge at the Odeon Show Bar, Emperors Palace.

Pretoria band The Action Thrillers took top honours in the monthly semi finals of the RBF Challenge at the Odeon Show Bar, Emperors Palace. Not only did the band's performance ensure them a place in the national finals taking place at Emperors Palace in October. but they also won the monthly prize of Boss microphones sponsored Enhanced Media Systems. The RBF Challenge now in its 13th year creates platforms for bands of all musical styles. Each month one band plays themselves to a place in the national finals as well as musical gear sponsored by Enhanced Media Systems. RBF (Radio Broadcast Facilities) is the recording studio at the SABC which has been supporting this event over the past 13 years.
