Attention all journalism students, enthusiastic writers, wannabe reporters and SA music lovers! If you know who is dating whom before Heat does, you’ve got more gossip than Huisgenoot and you absolutely can not wait to get your freak on at the next rocking music gig then Underplay’d Music Magazine is looking for you! Yes you… We promise you fame and fortune. Well maybe not the fortune but we will publish your article in our magazine and kit you out in awesome Underplay’d merchandise and give you hot SA music tracks! How do you become famous and get all this cool stuff? By following this easy brief:

• write an article about anything awesome happening in the SA music scene (I said it was easy!)
• it has to be no more than 250 words (please include word count)
• written in 12pt Verdana (yes. we are picky)
• and you must include a mind-blowingly cool title
• oh and please spell check it. you don’t want to embarrass yourself…
• last but not least email the article and your personal info (name, age and contact details) to: madele@underplay’d.co.za

Rules and Regulations:
1. The judges will decide the winning article. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
2. The winner will be informed telephonically.
3. The winning article will be published in the Underplay’d Music Magazine at the discretion of the Editor.
4. The judges may decide to place any articles that have been entered into the competition on the website www.underplay’d.co.za at their discretion.
5. Articles that are entered into the competition becomes the property of Underplay’d, no financial compensation will be given to any author in the event that Underplay’d publishes or in any other way uses the articles.
6. Underplay’d reserves the right to make adjustments and changes to any articles that are entered into the competition.
7. Prizes may differ every month and are at the discretion of Underplay’d.
