The magazine has a monthly section where readers are asked to visually illustrate the lyrics of a South African band. The lyrics, the winning reader's visual interpretation and the band's visual interpretation will all get published in the magazine to show what the band visualise their song as and what the audience sees.

The magazine has a monthly section where readers are asked to visually illustrate the lyrics of a South African band.

The lyrics, the winning reader's visual interpretation and the band's visual interpretation will all get published in the magazine to show what the band visualise their song as and what the audience sees. We would then like to copyright the visual interpretations of the band and the winning reader and create limited edition(20-50) T-shirts with the lyrics and visuals on. These T-shirts will be used as promotional material.

 The winner who's visual interpretation got picked will recieve one of these shirts and if possible a CD and other promotional material from the band whose lyrics he illustrated. The band whose lyrics we used will also recieve T-shirts.

Check the magazine and the website each month for the next song to be illustrated and then send your illustration in jpeg format to info@underplayd.co.za
